About Us

Raney’s Diesel Repair (RDR ) was built on the idea that equipment service can be done better. As a small independent company, the goal is to deliver the same level of professionalism, technical capability, and diagnostic accuracy customers expect from a dealership—without the delays, limitations, and complications that often come with large dealer networks.

The vision for RDR was shaped by owners experience working in the heavy equipment industry. During his time working within a major equipment dealership, it was common to arrive on a jobsite and see multiple technicians from different dealerships servicing different machines, each responsible for a specific brand of equipment.

Recognizing the inefficiencies this creates for equipment owners and contractors, Cameron founded RDR LLC with a different approach in mind. The company was built to provide dealer-level diagnostics, repairs, and technical expertise across multiple equipment platforms—allowing customers to resolve complex equipment issues with a single trusted service provider and one phone call.

Our Services

Diagnostics

Comprehensive diagnostics are available for off-highway construction, mining, and agricultural equipment, as well as on-highway diesel trucks. Utilizing OEM-level diagnostic software and specialized testing equipment, faults and problems can be accurately identified within electronic, hydraulic, fuel, and air conditioning systems. This approach allows problems to be pinpointed quickly, reducing downtime and preventing unnecessary parts replacement.

Preventative Maintenance

Scheduled preventative maintenance helps reduce unexpected breakdowns and keeps equipment operating at peak performance. Services are performed according to manufacturer intervals and include fluid and filter changes, lubrication, inspections, and system checks. Preventative maintenance tracking software is used to monitor service intervals and keep equipment on schedule. Maintenance contracts are also available to provide consistent service, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life.

Undercarriage

Undercarriage components are critical to machine performance and represent one of the highest wear areas on tracked equipment. Inspection, maintenance, and repair services are available for rollers, idlers, sprockets, track chains, pads, and tensioning systems. Detailed inspections help identify wear early, allowing repairs to be planned before major failures occur and helping extend the life of expensive undercarriage components.

Electrical

Modern construction and diesel equipment rely on complex electrical and electronic systems to operate efficiently. Diagnostic and repair services are available for wiring harnesses, sensors, relays, charging systems, starting systems, and electronic control components. Using professional diagnostic software and electrical testing equipment, faults can be accurately identified and repaired. Services also include ECM programming and support for other electronic control modules and machine controllers to ensure systems operate as designed.

Hydraulic

Hydraulic systems are essential to the performance and productivity of heavy equipment. Diagnostic and repair services are available for hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, and control systems. Using specialized testing equipment, system pressures, flow rates, and overall hydraulic performance can be evaluated to accurately identify faults and restore proper machine operation. When component-level repairs are required, trusted hydraulic partners assist with hydraulic pump repair, cylinder rebuilding, and hose fabrication to ensure complete system support.

Aftertreatment

Modern diesel engines rely on advanced aftertreatment systems to control exhaust emissions and maintain proper engine performance. Diagnostic and repair services are available for DPF, SCR, and EGR systems, including sensors, dosing systems, and related components. Using OEM diagnostic software and specialized testing equipment, faults can be accurately identified and corrected to restore proper operation and minimize downtime.

Field Service

Mobile field service is available to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance directly at the jobsite. Fully equipped service trucks allow many repairs to be completed on-site, reducing the need for equipment transportation. Providing service in the field helps minimize downtime and allows equipment to be returned to operation as quickly as possible.
